I saw Dr. Ohlson for treatment of plantar fasciitis when treatment by a podiatrist failed and my foot pain became increasingly severe. Dr. Ohlson took his time with me, examined my foot, discussed treatment options and answered all my questions. After 4 weekly sessions of sound wave therapy I am pain free! He is not only very knowledgeable, but kind and caring. The office staff is equally kind and supportive. Highly recommend!

Wonderful surgeon - kind and patient

I have experienced foot problems for many years and finally decided to consult several doctors about solutions. Dr. Ohlson was the only one I felt actually listened to me and what my problems were. He mentioned Minimally Invasive Surgery and I was hooked. He corrected a bunion, reoriented my big toe which was looking at a wall and not the ceiling, corrected a hammertoe, corrected two claw toes, and shaved down a bone spur. I feel like he basically gave me a new left foot. He patiently listened to all my fears and addressed them throughout whether it was over the phone or in person. I never once felt rushed so he could get to his next patient. I was frightened to have the pin removed from my hammertoe and he and his staff were amazingly supportive and helped me through that process. My surgery was a complete success now 12 weeks out and I can return to pickleball and golf. I really can't say enough nice things about this surgeon and his wonderful staff.

I play a lot of tennis and was experiencing significant pain when serving. The first doctor I saw said I needed surgery along with six months of PT. I got a second opinion from Dr Ohlson who suggested a combination of prp injection and shock therapy. I chose to do that and am so glad I did.
