I cannot recommend Dr. Ohlson and his team enough. They went above and beyond to educate me on all of the options available along with the pros and cons of each. I was battling a severe hip labral tear for years and finally decided to get it checked out. After multiple consultations & research, I elected for the Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate (BMAC) procedure. This wasn't the most comfortable procedure but Dr. Ohlson and team made it quick and easy. After a couple of days of soreness, my pain was completely gone. I couldn't and still can't believe it. I am back on the golf course and couldn't be happier. Thank you Dr. Ohlson!!

Came to Dr. Ohlson for an Achillies heal pain. Last year another doctor had me in a boot for 12 weeks and came right back a week out of the boot. Went thru 5 treatments of the shock wave treatment with Dr. Ohlson. Just went to my follow up 6 weeks appointment. After second treatment there was noticeable relief. All done now and Dr. Ohlson treatment has made a Hugh difference. Most all pain is gone. I can work out again. Little extra stretching and all good. Very happy

I brought my teenage son to see Dr. Olson for a knee cap and a shoulder injury from hockey. He went out of his way to come back into the office to see us after he had already gone home for the day! I would highly recommend Dr. Ohlson! I was having excruciating pain in my leg, which I feared was a blood clot. After being bounced around from the emergency room to different providers, I sought out Dr. Ohlson. He was able to identify the cause of my pain was in a completely different body part and order the appropriate tests immediately. I am now on the road to recovery and so thankful for much-needed answers and relief. Dr. Ohlson's skill and knowledge are second to none.

Saw Dr. Ohlson for tennis elbow. He was enthusiastic in educating me about my condition and the different treatment options. What he did worked and I’m happy as a clam at high tide.

I have had 2 ankle surgeries by Dr. Ohlson, and both times, my experience was nothing but excellent.
The first surgery was when I was 17, and 8 years later, I had tendon damage that caused my foot to be very flat, so I needed another surgery. I no longer lived in the lowcountry, so I tried to find a more local surgeon. I had a really bad experience, though, so I figured I should see about going back to Dr. Ohlson since he’d done my first surgery, and I’m so glad that I did.
He got me in the same week (after I’d been jerked around by my local surgeon, who had no idea what to do to help me, for over 6 months). Within five minutes of my appointment, Dr. Ohlson knew exactly what was wrong with me and what I needed to have done. He scheduled me a surgery for the next week. Of course, the surgery went fantastic and my foot has been doing great since then. His PA was also absolutely fantastic.

I’m actually concerned I have the same initial issue on my other foot now, and I’d rather make the trip to the other end of the state again just to stick with Dr. Ohlson, instead of rolling the dice and hoping for a good experience with a surgeon closer to where I live now.

I really cannot overstate how knowledgable, professional, and skilled Dr. Ohlson is. He is a fantastic surgeon.
